On March 13th, the North Carolina Arabian Horse Association sponsored a full day clinic at the barn. We had great attendence from all over the area and multiple breeds and discliplines were represented.
Meredith Reiter gave a presentation and demonstration that incuded show-grooming, show-clipping, how to thin a mane, and how to cut a tail for the best look in the show ring. This knowledge really gave the participants the skills to present their horse with an extra edge and professional look.

Larry Jones brought two National Champions and shared his experience with training and showing sport horse in-hand. What a great experience to learn the nuances of quality showmanship from a master.

The presentation on Centerpoint Riding delved into the mechanics of the human body in a way that made these principles easy to understand and relative to riding. We all left with exercises to improve our skills on the horse.
In "Ask the Judges", the participants were able to sit with a panel of national and open judges to get their personal insight and to ask questions. This provided a great opportunity to see the view from center ring and helpful hints from a judge's perspective.
